Diversity is broadly defined to include persons from different races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, disabilities, and physical and mental abilities. Studies strongly indicate that diverse organizations have a competitive edge in the world. Nonetheless, there are challenges to creating a diverse workforce.
